Real Bride Mita Weds Nathan at Poundon House, Oxfordshire
Wedding photography courtesy of Matt Horan Photography.
Mita and Nathan’s wedding was a glamorous affair from start to finish. The couple chose Poundon House, a relatively blank canvas, as the backdrop to their big day. With a creative team in tow they brought the sparse, albeit grand, stately home to life with elegant touches for a full day of festivities, perfectly captured by Matthew Horan Photography in the pictures below. A few words from our bride…
Advice from the Bride:Best bit(s) of the day:
Take the time at some point in the day to be alone as husband and wife even for 5mins to take in the incredible day and celebrate your planning efforts! It’s an amazing day but time just vanishes so quickly.
None, things will go wrong but your guests will have no idea so just go with the flow.
Best decision made:
Initially everyone thought we were mad for starting with a blank canvas and bringing everything to life ourselves by i’m so glad we stuck to our guns. Our guests loved the small personal touches we added throughout the day, from the personalised order of service, the beautiful signage and the hand made spice mix favours.
Testimonial for dress designer:
I had a vision for what i wanted to look like on the day and no shop on the high street could match what i wanted. When i first met the gorgeous and super talented My Trousseau sisters, Suki and Jazz….i was certain i’d found the right people to help me achieve my vision. The outfits they created and the advice and help throughout the journey was incredible and i cannot thank you enough for making me look the best i’ve ever looked for the most important day of my life!
Thanks Mita and congratulations again to you and Nathan!
